Maintenance Manager – Electromechanical Engineering

About the role

Lead engineering excellence in a specialised manufacturing environment, focusing on compressors, automation, PLC programming and team leadership to boost operational performance and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, optimise and continuously improve critical equipment and processes.
• Lead technical teams in resolving complex engineering challenges.
• Drive reliability and operational efficiency across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related technical field (Honours in Mechanical Engineering advantageous).
• Qualified Electromechanical Technician or Engineer.
• Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years working with compressor systems.
• 5+ years of management experience leading technical teams.

Required skills

• Compressors and fault finding.
• Automation and control systems.
• PLC programming.
• Software programming.
• Delta WPLSoft and DOPSoft software.
• Use of gas analysers, measurement, monitoring and diagnostic equipment.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of R 500,000 – R 700,000 per year.
