Maintenance Hand

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Hand to support the day‑to‑day upkeep of our Breeder Farm. You will play a key part in keeping buildings, equipment and infrastructure operating safely and efficiently while adhering to strict biosecurity and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with routine maintenance of farm buildings, fences, water systems and other infrastructure.
• Perform basic repairs on agricultural equipment and tools.
• Support cleaning and sanitation activities to meet biosecurity requirements.
• Report any safety hazards or equipment failures to supervisors promptly.
• Help with seasonal projects such as facility upgrades or equipment installations.

Required profile

• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow safety and biosecurity protocols.
• Physical fitness to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
