About the role
Prestige Clothing is seeking experienced Machinists to join its garment production team in Durban. The role involves operating a range of sewing equipment to produce high‑quality clothing items.
Key responsibilities
- Operate multi‑needle sewing machines
- Create buttonholes and sew them
- Make and attach collars, ensuring proper fit
- Install and finish zippers
- Construct, attach and close waistbands
- Produce and attach plackets
- Make and attach pockets
Required profile
- Qualified on a plain & overlocking machine with five or more skills
- Qualified on five different sewing machines
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in garment manufacturing
- Proven track record in the NBC clothing industry and ability to operate a variety of sewing machines
