Luxury Safari Travel Consultant – South Africa Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Luxury Safari Travel Consultant who will focus exclusively on South African luxury travel experiences. Working remotely, you will design and sell bespoke itineraries to international clients, managing the full sales cycle from enquiry to post‑travel follow‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Convert qualified enquiries into confirmed luxury safari bookings focused on South Africa.
• Design tailor‑made itineraries that include safari lodges, city stays, coastal extensions, and curated experiences.
• Manage the complete client journey from initial consultation through post‑travel follow‑up.
• Provide expert advice on South African safari destinations, lodges, and travel logistics.
• Liaise with lodges, hotels, and suppliers to ensure seamless travel arrangements.
• Handle multiple client itineraries simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.
• Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, quotes, and booking documentation.
• Stay up to date with South African travel trends, product updates, and industry changes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a luxury travel consultant, ideally specialising in South Africa.
• Strong, in‑depth knowledge of South African safari destinations, lodges, and travel experiences.
• Demonstrated track record of selling high‑value, tailor‑made travel itineraries to international clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple bookings.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, high‑performance environment.
• Passion for South African travel, wildlife, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
