Logistics Sales Representative - Kempton Park

About the role

National market leader in truck rental and logistics is looking for an external Sales Representative for its Kempton Park branch. The role focuses on new business development, cold‑calling and growing existing accounts while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities through cold calling and market research.
• Retain and grow existing customer base in the assigned market.
• Achieve weekly sales targets and submit regular sales reports.
• Prepare and present proposals, quote on new and existing business.
• Conduct monthly customer visits and respond promptly to enquiries.
• Maintain accurate call planning, reporting and customer administration systems.
• Monitor competitor activity and contribute to team meetings.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of sales and account management experience, preferably in a service industry with on‑the‑road sales and cold calling.
• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence and Grade 12 qualification.
• Reside within Gauteng/East Rand area and have a clear criminal record.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• High level of computer literacy, especially MS Excel.
• Experience with SAP (advantageous).
