Logistics Coordinator – Planning & Contract Logistics

About the role

The Logistics Coordinator will plan, coordinate and optimise warehouse and transport activities to ensure customer orders are executed efficiently, risks are managed and contractual service levels are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Understand the customer’s business, requirements and develop trusted relationships.
• Monitor planning tools, daily execution and identify operational risks, capacity constraints and deviations.
• Review and analyse planning performance to improve SLAs, efficiency and resource utilisation.
• Monitor, measure and report on warehouse KPIs, SLA performance and on‑time delivery.
• Coordinate booking, re‑booking, order consolidation and reverse‑logistics activities.
• Conduct daily system checks, manage queries and ensure compliance with HSE, audit and contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering (advantageous).
• 2–5 years experience in a 3PL, warehousing, logistics or supply‑chain planning environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, capacity planning, workload balancing and resource optimisation.
• Proven customer‑service experience and ability to manage internal and external stakeholder expectations.
• Self‑motivated, adaptable, able to work independently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of WMS – Cargowrite.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and planning software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office applications.
