Legal Counsellor

About the role
The Legal Counsellor provides members with legal advice and paralegal solutions in line with the Scorpion Legal Protection Membership Agreement. Working under the Branch Manager, the role involves direct client interaction, document preparation, and coordination with external attorneys.
Key responsibilities
- Consult with members to deliver legal advice and assistance.
- Draft and respond to correspondence on behalf of clients.
- Maintain and regularly update case files.
- Liaise with attorneys and the claims department to obtain advice and instructions.
- Provide clients with regular updates and feedback.
- Perform general administrative tasks related to legal matters.
Required profile
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday 08:00‑16:30 and alternate Saturdays 09:00‑12:30.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate file management.
- Effective communication skills for client interaction and liaison with attorneys.
