Legal & Compliance Advisor

About the role

The Legal & Compliance Advisor will support an online gaming and software specialist operating in South Africa. Working in a hybrid model, the advisor will provide commercial‑focused legal guidance and ensure the company meets its regulatory obligations.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply relevant legislation and regulations affecting i‑Gaming, gambling entertainment, technology, IT, telecommunications and consulting services.
• Advise internal teams on B2B supplier obligations within regulated frameworks.
• Monitor compliance with industry standards and support the development of internal policies.
• Collaborate with business units to address commercial and risk considerations.

Required profile

• LLB, BCom Law qualification or admission as an attorney.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a similar legal or compliance role.
• Demonstrated experience in i‑Gaming, gambling entertainment, technology, IT, telco or consulting sectors.
• Commercially minded, detail‑orientated and South African citizenship.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of B2B supplier obligations within regulated environments.
