Legal Advisor

About the role

The Legal Advisor will provide practical legal solutions to business challenges, helping to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will translate complex legal requirements into clear, actionable guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide sound legal advice on operational matters and emerging legislation.
• Review, draft, negotiate and update legal agreements and documentation.
• Collaborate with risk teams to assess and minimise legal exposure.
• Liaise with external counsel to manage deliverables, budgets and timelines.
• Conduct legal research and monitor regulatory developments affecting the business.
• Develop, implement and review internal legal policies and procedures.
• Interpret laws, rulings and regulations applicable to the business area.
• Communicate legal risks and recommendations to senior leaders and relevant forums.

Required profile

• Law degree with relevant qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience providing legal advice in a corporate environment.
• Strong analytical and judgment skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
