Lead: Strategic Projects and Business Optimisation

About the role

As a Lead for Strategic Projects and Business Optimisation, you will act as an internal consultant to senior executives of Capitec Business. You will shape strategy, drive innovation, and improve processes that directly impact South Africa’s largest bank by client numbers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide executive‑level support and advisory services to the Business Bank leadership team.
• Develop and refine business strategies, incentive schemes, and process optimisation initiatives.
• Construct financial models, perform valuations, and conduct due‑diligence audits for credit decisions and M&A opportunities.
• Analyse competitor and market data to inform strategic decisions.
• Attend, minute, and follow up on Business Bank ExCo meetings to ensure alignment with strategic direction.

Required profile

• Honours degree.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a management‑consulting environment.
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with at least 2 years post‑article experience.
