Lead Generation Agent (Call Centre)

About the role

We are looking for motivated, customer‑focused agents to join our well‑established contact centre in Johannesburg. You will work with warm leads supplied by the business, engage prospects, qualify their interest and connect them with the appropriate sales consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Contact warm leads provided by the company via outbound calls.
• Engage prospective customers to understand their needs and level of interest.
• Qualify leads according to campaign requirements and capture accurate information in the CRM system.
• Schedule appointments or transfer qualified prospects to the relevant sales consultants.
• Maintain high levels of customer service throughout each interaction.
• Achieve daily and monthly lead‑generation targets.
• Ensure all customer records are up‑to‑date and accurate.

Required profile

• Previous call‑centre experience in lead generation, customer service or sales.
• Excellent verbal communication and professional telephone etiquette.
• Computer literate with the ability to work efficiently on CRM platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a target‑driven environment.
