Law Clerk – Commercial Real Estate & Energy (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Law Clerk specialized in commercial real estate and energy to support our client’s legal teams on a contract basis. The remote position involves drafting, reviewing, and managing transaction documents while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and prepare commercial real estate and energy contracts, lease agreements, and related transactional documents.
• Conduct legal research on real estate and energy law matters, including regulatory compliance and due diligence.
• Assist in managing transactional documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Coordinate with legal teams, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Maintain organized records of legal documents and correspondence for ongoing and future transactions.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree or enrollment in an accredited law school with at least two years completed.
• Prior experience as a law clerk, legal assistant, or similar role, preferably in commercial real estate or energy sectors.

Required skills

• Legal drafting and contract review.
• Legal research using Westlaw.
• Legal research using LexisNexis.
