Last Mile Operations Supervisor – Delivery Station

About the role

Amazon is seeking a hands‑on Operations Supervisor to lead its Last Mile Delivery station in South Africa. You will be at the core of the customer experience, ensuring packages move efficiently from fulfillment centres to customers’ doorsteps while driving operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound package flow, sortation accuracy and staging for dispatch within the delivery station.
• Plan and adjust labour deployment against volume forecasts, resolve real‑time bottlenecks and uphold safety and quality standards.
• Own daily stand‑ups, operational reporting and track key metrics such as delivery success rate, concessions and on‑time performance.
• Partner with transportation planning teams on capacity and demand alignment.
• Contribute to peak‑readiness, contingency planning and launch of new processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in operations, logistics or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage fast‑paced warehouse or delivery‑station environments.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules during launch and peak periods.
