Key Accounts Manager (Retail Accounts)

About the role

The Key Accounts Manager will oversee strategic retail customer accounts, driving profitable sales growth while ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction. You will act as the primary liaison between the company and key retail partners, coordinating internal resources to meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen relationships with key retail customers through regular visits, account reviews, and proactive communication.
• Achieve sales targets by identifying growth opportunities, developing account plans, and executing sales strategies.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts, monitor account performance, and produce analytical reports for management.
• Negotiate pricing, promotions, and commercial terms within approved parameters to protect margins.
• Monitor stock levels, coordinate with supply chain teams, and ensure product availability for customers.
• Conduct market research, track competitor activity, and contribute to new business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management or sales within the retail or horticultural sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profitability and customer retention.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
