Key Account Sales Manager – B2B Products

About the role

The Key Account Sales Manager will lead B2B product sales for a growing portfolio, building and maintaining relationships with directors, CEOs and business owners. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will deliver tailored solutions and ensure seamless hand‑over to the admin support team for implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a team of four admin support staff and coordinate with the sales team.
• Develop and execute customer retention strategies, ensuring timely follow‑up.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within existing accounts.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline, produce regular reports on forecasts, losses and customer activity.
• Lead consultative sales cycles, from prospecting to closing, and oversee tender processes.
• Attend industry events and networking functions to generate new leads.

Required profile

• Matric qualification; further relevant education is an advantage.
• Proven B2B product sales experience.
• Professional demeanor suitable for high‑level executives.
• Strong financial acumen with understanding of gross profit and margins.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, out‑of‑the‑box approach.
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
