Key Account Manager – Sustainable Packaging

About the role

A leading global manufacturer of sustainable packaging solutions is looking for a results‑driven Key Account Manager to own the commercial performance of its Fiber Packaging segment in a high‑growth geographical area. You will be the primary link between customers, operations and internal teams, ensuring seamless execution and an outstanding customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
• Develop and implement customer‑specific sales plans, regional growth strategies and annual budgets.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales, volume, turnover and margin targets; lead forecasting and monitor pricing trends.
• Manage the full customer complaints process, analyse root causes and coordinate with production to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor customer payments, review credit limits and manage inventory levels to reduce aging stock.
• Prepare weekly market and issue reports and monthly commercial performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Management, International Business or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in the packaging industry or another technical, multi‑stakeholder manufacturing sector is highly advantageous.
• Established network within the relevant market is preferred.
