Key Account Manager – Retail

About the role

Avalanche Industries is seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to own a portfolio of strategic national retail accounts. You will work directly with national buyers, category managers and distribution partners to drive sales growth and strengthen long‑term partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, category managers and distribution partners.
• Conduct regular customer meetings, business reviews and identify growth opportunities.
• Secure new product listings and develop account growth plans.
• Collaborate with distributors to execute strategies, monitor performance and ensure consistent execution.
• Coordinate forecasts, purchase orders and product launches with internal teams.
• Manage promotional campaigns, store visits and ensure successful execution of customer initiatives.
• Analyse sales performance, prepare reports and use insights to improve results.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Key Account Management within FMCG, consumer goods or retail.
• Track record managing national retail accounts, distributors or franchise groups.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Confidence engaging with senior buyers and decision‑makers.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
