Key Account Manager – Remote (South Africa)

About the role

Remote Recruitment is seeking a Key Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of high‑value clients for a UK‑based business. Working fully remotely from South Africa, you will build deep relationships, retain revenue and identify strategic growth opportunities across your accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Own the commercial relationship with a defined portfolio of key accounts.
• Conduct strategic account reviews and develop account growth plans.
• Identify and convert upsell and expansion opportunities.
• Resolve escalated client issues quickly and professionally.
• Work cross‑functionally with product, operations, and finance teams to deliver for clients.

Required profile

• 4+ years of key account management or strategic sales experience.
• Demonstrable track record of growing and retaining major accounts.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder management abilities.
• Reliable internet connection and a professional home workspace.

What we offer

• Salary: R30,000 per month.
• Full‑time, permanent remote position.
• Working hours: 09:00‑17:00 UK time (11:00‑19:00 SAST).
• Equipment provided.
