Key Account Manager – Consumer Electronics

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Key Account Manager to join our Middle East & Africa Sales team, based in Johannesburg or Cape Town. You will own the end‑to‑end commercial management of key accounts across both online and brick‑and‑mortar channels, driving growth for our consumer electronics portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow key‑account portfolios by implementing tailored sales strategies and performance plans.
• Lead multi‑year partnerships, delivering Joint Business Plan targets and optimizing distribution.
• Manage strategic negotiations, develop product and pricing strategies, and drive profitability.
• Ensure strong in‑store and online presence, optimise promotional planning and on‑shelf availability.
• Monitor channel performance, take corrective actions, and align results with company objectives.
• Transform real‑time data into actionable insights to improve sales execution and forecast accuracy.
• Create and test agile, localized sales models that respond to evolving consumer demand.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in field sales, key‑account management or commercial operations.
• Proven B2C track record, preferably in consumer electronics, appliances, FMCG or retail.
• Strong understanding of channel strategy, negotiation and contract management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics or Power BI.
