Key Account Manager – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a Key Account Manager to lead and expand strategic customer accounts within an international automotive metal‑components manufacturer. You will build strong internal and external relationships, drive commercial and project deliverables, and initiate new projects and product changes while ensuring alignment of sales, quotation, quality and processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow key accounts in the automotive manufacturing environment.
• Maintain effective relationships with clients and internal departments.
• Initiate new projects, product changes and process improvements.
• Support sales and marketing process optimisation.

Required profile

• Strong commercial acumen and technical understanding of tool, jig and fixture manufacturing.
• Proven project‑management capability and advanced communication/negotiation skills.
• Self‑driven, able to work independently and support client growth while meeting business objectives.
• Diploma in Sales & Marketing and/or Mechanical Engineering; tool‑making qualification is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced computer literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project and CATIA.
• Sound knowledge of commercial legislation, quality systems and project management.
• Analytical ability, advanced numeracy and strong English literacy (Mandarin Chinese advantageous).
