Key Account Manager – Asset Finance (Pretoria)

About the role

The company is a well‑established asset‑based finance provider serving the transport, mining and construction sectors. It is looking for a proactive Key Account Manager to nurture and expand relationships with key brokers and clients in the commercial asset‑finance market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key brokers, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
• Act as the primary point of contact, understanding brokers’ financing needs and business objectives.
• Review broker portfolios regularly to identify opportunities for additional funding solutions.
• Collaborate with internal credit, risk and operations teams to structure and negotiate financing deals.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance product offerings and client solutions.
• Negotiate terms that align with broker requirements and company objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in key account management, relationship management or sales within asset‑based finance or commercial lending.
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Ability to use financial modelling tools.
