Key Account Manager – Asset-Based Finance

About the role

A leading commercial finance organisation is looking for a dynamic Key Account Manager to join its Pretoria team. You will manage and grow relationships with key brokers and clients in the asset‑based finance space, driving portfolio growth and delivering tailored funding solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and expand relationships with key brokers and existing clients.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned broker portfolios.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing networks.
• Structure, negotiate and close asset‑based finance transactions.
• Collaborate with credit, risk and operations teams to ensure successful deal execution.
• Provide funding solutions aligned to client asset requirements.
• Review portfolios regularly to spot growth and cross‑sell opportunities.
• Maintain strong product knowledge of asset‑based finance solutions.
• Contribute to sales strategy and revenue‑growth targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in Yellow Metal Equipment Finance.
• Strong background in asset‑based finance, commercial lending or equipment finance.
• Track record in key account management, sales or relationship management.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Financial modelling skills.
