Junior UI Developer

About the role

JHC Consulting is looking for a Junior UI Developer to join our fully remote team. You will help build and maintain the web‑based interfaces that present analytical data and formal memoranda for corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Translate design specifications into standards‑compliant HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Develop and sustain internal tools that enable principals to synthesize and review client data.
• Ensure layouts are legible across devices and that data visualisations remain clear under close scrutiny.
• Write clear documentation describing the intent and function of each UI component.
• Collaborate with senior staff through written reviews to guarantee accuracy and auditability.

Required profile

• Familiarity with basic front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
• Experience with a modern framework such as React, Vue, or Svelte gained through study, internships or personal projects.
• Understanding of typography and grid‑based layout principles for digital documents.
• Strong written English skills and ability to explain technical concepts without jargon.
• Self‑discipline to work independently in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, design, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
