Junior to Intermediate Project Manager – Business Banking Transformation

About the role

We are partnering with a leading South African financial institution to find a Junior‑to‑Intermediate Project Manager for its Business Banking transformation team. You will support strategic initiatives such as client onboarding, journey redesign, and SAFe Agile delivery, working closely with business, technology and operations stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery of multiple projects and workstreams across Business Banking.
• Develop and maintain project plans, RAID logs, dependency trackers and status reports.
• Support governance meetings, steering committees and executive reporting.
• Assist with client onboarding initiatives and customer‑journey improvements.
• Facilitate Agile and SAFe ceremonies, including Program Increment planning.
• Manage cross‑team dependencies and ensure timely delivery.
• Produce high‑quality PowerPoint presentations, dashboards and executive reports.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in project management or coordination, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Exposure to business banking, client onboarding, operations or digital transformation programmes.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments with strong governance and reporting skills.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication with both business and technical stakeholders.
