Junior Software Developer (2 positions)

About the role

We are looking for two Junior Software Developers to join our team in Port Shepstone, KwaZulu‑Natal. You will work on both front‑end and back‑end components of web applications, primarily using Angular and related web technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user interfaces using Angular, HTML5 and CSS.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for data access and storage.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver features on schedule.
• Integrate external APIs and ensure proper communication via HTTP/REST protocols.
• Use Git and GitHub for version control, code reviews and continuous integration.
• Participate in code quality reviews and apply best coding practices.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field.
• Strong experience with Angular (essential) and solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS.
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database storage principles.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Familiarity with multi‑tier development and web architecture.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
