Junior Sales Manager (Office Automation)

About the role

The Junior Sales Manager will lead a growing junior sales team, driving new business in the office automation sector. You will be responsible for building a robust pipeline, coaching reps, and delivering consultative solutions to B2B clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, cold‑call, and generate leads for office automation products and services.
• Manage and track sales activities using a CRM system.
• Present solutions, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
• Coach and develop a team of up to five junior sales representatives.
• Set targets, monitor KPIs (calls, meetings, conversions, revenue) and run regular sales meetings.
• Maintain knowledge of copiers, printers, document management, PABX and VOIP solutions, including rental and service contract models.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in office automation, telecoms or IT.
• Proven new‑business development (hunter) track record.
• Some leadership exposure (team lead, mentoring or acting manager).
• Matric qualification; additional sales/marketing/business studies are a plus.
• Valid driver’s licence, own reliable vehicle and willingness to travel locally.

Required skills

• CRM usage (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Knowledge of office automation equipment (copiers, printers, document management, PABX, VOIP).

• CTC between R30 000 and R35 000 per month, plus performance‑based commissions.
