Junior Project Manager

About the role

Our client, a leading waterproofing company based in Milnerton, Cape Town, is looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager. The role supports the planning, coordination and delivery of waterproofing projects, working across multiple sites to ensure timelines and quality standards are met. The successful candidate will be expected to liaise with clients, suppliers and internal teams to ensure project specifications are met.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of waterproofing projects.
• Support the management of multiple project sites and adhere to project deadlines.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
• Collaborate with senior project managers and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with a relevant qualification in Construction Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering, Project Management or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in project coordination or project management within the waterproofing or construction industry.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal transport.
• Strong planning, organisational and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of waterproofing systems and construction processes (advantageous).
