Junior Project Manager

About the role

Our client in Milnerton, Cape Town is looking for a proactive Junior Project Manager to support the planning, coordination and delivery of waterproofing and construction projects. The role offers the chance to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic construction environment while working closely with senior project staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and scheduling of construction and waterproofing projects.
• Coordinate daily site activities and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, track milestones and ensure deadlines are met.
• Prepare and update project documentation, reports and status updates.
• Support the project team in managing budgets, resources and quality standards.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, Building Science, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in project coordination or project management within construction or waterproofing.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal transport.
• Strong organisational, planning and communication skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
