About the role
Our client, an authorized financial services provider based in Houghton, Johannesburg, is seeking a Junior Legal Advisor to join their legal team. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work on a variety of legal matters while supporting clients and internal departments.
Key responsibilities
- Provide telephonic legal advice to clients across labour, criminal and civil matters.
- Assist clients by applying legal knowledge in multiple practice areas.
- Prepare and manage client correspondence.
- Collaborate with other departments on cross‑functional projects.
Required profile
- Completed LLB, BCom LLB or BA LLB qualification.
- Admitted Attorney of the High Court with at least one year of post‑articles experience.
- Fluent Afrikaans (first language) and proficient English.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
