Junior Interior Designer – Cape Town

About the role

Our client is looking for a talented Junior Interior Designer to join their Cape Town team. You will be involved in the full design lifecycle, from concept development to technical documentation and on‑site implementation. The role offers exposure to commercial interior projects and collaboration with a range of consultants and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative and functional interior design concepts.
• Create space‑planning layouts and design presentations.
• Produce detailed technical drawings and construction documentation using Revit.
• Prepare interior detailing, joinery drawings, and technical specifications.
• Develop high‑quality 3D models and visual presentations.
• Assist with material, furniture, and finishes selection.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, contractors, and clients.
• Attend site meetings and conduct inspections within the Cape Town area.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design.
• Passion for commercial interior design.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Revit (essential – strong proficiency).
• Enscape (preferred).
• AutoCAD (advantageous).
• Adobe Creative Suite (advantageous).
• Microsoft Office Package.

What we offer

• Salary range R192,000 – R240,000 per annum (cost to company).
