Junior Industrial Designer

About the role

One to One by Martin Döller is an internationally awarded experiential lighting company. As a Junior Industrial Designer you will work alongside the head of the bespoke lighting division, supporting the design and production of custom feature lights and signature installations recognised on global stages. This hands‑on role sits at the intersection of design, production and technical execution, taking concepts through to the factory floor.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D component drawings using Autodesk Fusion 360.
• Assist with product R&D and the design of new lighting pieces.
• Interpret and work from technical drawings across multiple production stages.
• Prepare cutting lists and support factory operations.
• Assist with prototype and sample construction in the workshop.
• Draft and maintain job cards for production.
• Write installation and user manuals for the product range.
• Support project planning and coordination across the studio.
• Attend on‑site work when required.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion 360 – non‑negotiable.
• A relevant qualification in industrial design, product design or a similar field.
• Strong technical drawing skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Comfortable moving between digital design and physical making.
• Collaborative, curious approach and ability to work across disciplines.
• Interest in lighting, materials and craftsmanship is a genuine advantage.
