Junior Graphic Designer

About the role

The Capital Hotels is looking for a creative Junior Graphic Designer to support its marketing and brand initiatives. You will turn strategic concepts into visual solutions that enhance the guest experience and reinforce the hotel’s modern, aspirational image.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise, design and deliver marketing assets from initial idea through to final production.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with marketing and hospitality teams to ensure visual consistency across all channels.
• Prepare and optimise content for web using HTML and CSS.
• Produce video clips and animations to support promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• Matric with a relevant marketing qualification.
• At least 1 year of professional graphic design experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
• Own transport and willingness to travel occasionally.
• Excellent command of the English language.

Required skills

• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other design software.
• Proficient in HTML and CSS for content markup.
• Experience with video editing and animation production.
• Good visual design principles, including typography, hierarchy, grid‑based layouts and colour harmony.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases).
