This entry‑level position offers a passionate individual the chance to start a career as a Junior Field Guide at a well‑established conservation lodge in Hoedspruit, Limpopo. You will work alongside students and trainees, delivering immersive bush experiences and supporting daily lodge operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior guides on wildlife walks and game drives.
• Support practical fieldwork and educational activities for student groups.
• Contribute to daily lodge operations, including guest service tasks.
• Help with general lodge duties and ensure safety standards are upheld.

Required profile

• Entry‑level guide qualification or relevant conservation studies.
• Strong passion for wildlife, conservation and environmental education.
• Comfortable working with student groups in a training‑focused environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in bush conditions.
• Basic understanding of guest service within a lodge setting.
• Flexibility to assist with general lodge activities when needed.
• High awareness of safety and responsible guiding practices.
