Junior Engineer – Technical Support (Cape Town)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Engineer to join our technical team in Constantia, Cape Town. The role combines after‑sales support, documentation, and hands‑on testing of equipment, offering exposure to both local and international projects.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and after‑sales support to customers and internal teams.
• Write, validate, and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
• Implement and manage a database of technical specifications.
• Supply technical information to marketing, sales, spares, and customers.
• Participate in projects, research, testing, and validation activities as required.
• Deliver training sessions and travel nationally or internationally for commissioning and fault finding.

Required profile

• Millwright or Mechatronics Engineering qualification.
• Minimum five years of experience in a technical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong planning, organisational, and client interaction abilities.
• Excellent business‑level written and verbal English communication.
• Good attendance record and reliable references.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
