Junior Draughtsman – SolidWorks (Cape Town)

About the role
Our client, a manufacturing company, is looking for a Junior Draughtsman skilled in SolidWorks to join their design team. You will work on creating detailed sheet‑metal components and supporting the production and assembly processes.
Key responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D sheet‑metal panel designs using SolidWorks.
- Prepare and maintain technical drawings for production and assembly teams.
- Produce documentation and reports on a daily basis.
- Liaise with internal and external clients to ensure design requirements are met.
Required profile
- Matric qualification (minimum).
- SolidWorks Advanced Certificate (advantageous).
- Mechanical qualification (advantageous).
- At least 2 years of practical experience with SolidWorks.
- Familiarity with sheet‑metal fabrication environments.

What we offer
- Salary range of R10,000 – R12,000 per month.
