About the role

Werfnet is seeking a motivated Junior Draftsman to join its professional design team in Durbanville. This full‑time, office‑based role offers hands‑on exposure to architectural and engineering projects with structured training to develop industry‑specific software skills.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a professional team on architectural and engineering design projects.
• Assist with technical drawings and CAD‑related tasks.
• Learn and apply industry‑specific software (training provided).
• Provide day‑to‑day drafting and technical support to senior professionals and directors.
• Contribute accurately to project documentation and workflows.

Required profile

• Architectural Draughtsperson Certificate (NQF Level 5) OR Higher Certificate in Construction and Engineering Drawing.
• Foundational knowledge or exposure to CAD and technical drawing.
• Willingness to learn new drafting and modelling software.
• Honest, hardworking, detail‑oriented and dedicated.
• Fluency in Afrikaans to communicate effectively with clients.
