Junior Credit Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Credit Analyst to join Vouched’s credit team in Kleinmond. You will work closely with senior analysts to evaluate credit applications for small‑business funding, helping the bank make informed lending decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse large, complex data sets and financial statements to assess borrower creditworthiness.
• Verify and validate credit and financial information provided by applicants.
• Identify potential fraud indicators or financial health concerns.
• Support the credit team in preparing assessments and making funding decisions.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in SME credit analysis, consulting, or auditing.
• Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or economics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, IF statements).
