Junior Commercial Legal & Risk Advisor

About the role

Build your commercial legal career within a complex, multi‑faceted business environment where law, risk, insurance and operational decision‑making intersect. Reporting to the Head of Legal & Risk, you will support contract management, regulatory compliance, insurance, claims, governance and enterprise risk, gaining hands‑on exposure to sophisticated commercial agreements and working closely with internal stakeholders, external attorneys and insurance partners.

Key responsibilities

• Review and draft SLAs, MSAs, NDAs, leases, finance and security agreements and other commercial documentation.
• Identify contractual, legal and insurance risk and support negotiations and claims.
• Conduct legal research to inform business decisions.
• Assist with regulatory compliance, due diligence and risk management activities.
• Provide governance support across enterprise risk initiatives.

Required profile

• LLB degree (essential).
• Completed articles or equivalent corporate/commercial legal, risk or compliance experience.
• Strong commercial contract drafting, review and interpretation skills.
• Exposure to commercial law or contract negotiation (advantageous).
• Experience in supply chain, transport, maritime or related operational sectors (advantageous).
• Understanding of international legal frameworks (beneficial).
