About the role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Bookkeeper to join our finance team in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. This entry‑level position offers a clear path for career growth within a stable and expanding company.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cashbooks and manage creditor accounts for 16 companies.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist with month‑end closing procedures and prepare trial balances.
- Support the Senior Accountant in daily accounting tasks.
Required profile
- Certificate in bookkeeping or equivalent qualification.
- Experience processing accounts up to trial balance.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with multiple entities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Table functions.
