Junior Automotive Buyer

About the role

The Junior Automotive Buyer will support our client’s wholesale vehicle operation by sourcing, evaluating and purchasing high‑quality pre‑owned cars, bakkies and SUVs. Working remotely across Pretoria, you will liaise directly with dealers and clients to secure the best deals while maintaining strong relationships. You will collaborate with the procurement team to ensure efficient vehicle sourcing and contribute to the growth of the dealership network. The role offers flexibility to work from home while attending occasional meetings at the head office in Pretoria East.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and assess vehicles at clients’ premises.
• Negotiate purchase prices with clients.
• Finalize purchase agreements and complete all required documentation.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate.
• Previous experience in motor‑vehicle purchasing or sales within the used‑vehicle sector is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation skills and a personable, approachable attitude.
• Highly confident and self‑assured.

What we offer

• Basic salary of R7 000 per month plus commission (approximately R20 000–R50 000).
• Company vehicle for client visits (not for private use) and fuel expenses covered.
