Junior Attorney – Renewable Energy (Stellenbosch)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing renewable‑energy organisation in South Africa as a Junior Attorney. You will work from day one on a variety of commercial legal matters, gaining hands‑on experience in a collaborative, high‑performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review commercial agreements and contracts supporting renewable‑energy transactions.
• Conduct legal research and provide advice on company secretarial duties, compliance initiatives and corporate governance.
• Assist with corporate governance matters and ensure projects stay on track by liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Support day‑to‑day legal operations within a multi‑entity, project‑focused organisation.

Required profile

• LLB degree with admission as an attorney or eligibility for admission.
• Approximately one year of post‑articles experience or strong articles exposure to commercial law.
• Proficiency in Afrikaans.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to learn and strong commercial mindset.

Required skills

• Drafting and reviewing contracts.
• Knowledge of the Companies Act.
• Excellent written communication.
