About the role
The company is seeking a Junior Attorney to join its legal team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The role involves drafting legal documents, providing advice, and supporting litigation and commercial matters.
Key responsibilities
- Draft and review pleadings, notices, contracts and agreements.
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders.
- Prepare briefs, court documents and other legal filings.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of the company.
- Conduct legal research and maintain case files, notes and reports.
Required profile
- Matric and LLB degree.
- Admitted attorney with 1–3 years of experience in a law firm.
- In‑depth understanding of High Court and Magistrates Court processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and strong organisational skills.
Required skills
- Experience in litigation, commercial and labour law.
- Experience in levy collections.
- Legal research proficiency.
