Junior Agile Coach (LACE) – Remote

About the role

Weir is looking for a Junior Agile Coach to join its LACE (Lean‑Agile Center of Excellence) team. Working remotely from South Africa or the UK, you will help delivery teams adopt Agile ways of working and improve their maturity.

Key responsibilities

• Support teams in adopting Agile practices aligned with the Agile Playbook and Ways of Working Guidance.
• Partner with Scrum Masters, Product Owners and team members to reinforce core Agile principles.
• Provide hands‑on guidance throughout team maturity stages and deliver coaching following the LACE model.
• Enable effective use of Jira and Jira Align, ensuring proper structuring of Epics, Features and Stories and maintaining data quality.
• Assist with Agile ceremonies (planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives) and give feedback on their effectiveness.
• Collect and communicate improvement opportunities to the LACE community and contribute to training materials.
• Demonstrate a 100% commitment to zero‑harm safety behaviours.

Required profile

• Foundational understanding of Agile principles and experience supporting Agile teams, preferably in an Agile transformation context.
• Hands‑on experience with Atlassian tools, especially Jira; Jira Align experience is a plus.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills combined with a continuous‑improvement mindset.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Relevant Agile certification, preferably SAFe.
• Experience working collaboratively in a remote, cross‑functional environment is desirable.
