Junior Accounts & Administration Clerk

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accounts & Administration Clerk to support daily accounting, inventory, and administrative functions within our finance department. This role offers a solid foundation for gaining practical experience in a well‑established organization.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and customer follow‑ups.
• Process customer credit applications and supplier onboarding documentation.
• Capture supplier invoices, stock receipts, and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate stock records, verify incoming stock, and investigate variances, damages, or shortages.
• Record stock movements, transfers, returns, and adjustments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing, and support month‑end procedures.
• Respond professionally to customer and supplier queries.
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance Department.

Required profile

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• 3‑5 years of experience in accounts or administration.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transport.
