Junior Accountant

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This entry‑level position offers the opportunity to develop core accounting skills while supporting day‑to‑day financial operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accounting entries up to the trial balance.
- Calculate VAT and submit returns to SARS.
- Process payroll and submit related taxes to SARS.
- Prepare and submit Workman’s Compensation documentation.
- Assist with the use of Sage Payroll, Sage Accounting and GhostPractice software.
Required profile
- Matric certificate.
- Fluent reading and speaking in both Afrikaans and English.
- Recommended BCom degree or equivalent accounting qualification.
- Computer literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
