Joinery Lister (CAD)

About the role

Our client, a leading construction and interior‑infrastructure specialist, is looking for a Joinery Lister with strong CAD expertise. You will translate architectural drawings and design specifications into detailed joinery lists, schedules and technical documentation, supporting the full project lifecycle from design to installation.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed joinery lists and schedules from architectural drawings.
• Compile material schedules, cutting lists and hardware requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications for joiners and workshop staff.
• Produce accurate 2D and/or 3D CAD drawings of joinery components and assemblies.
• Generate construction details, elevations, sections, shop drawings and installation diagrams.
• Maintain clear documentation for quality assurance and record‑keeping.
• Manage revisions, updates and ensure all CAD output meets industry and workshop standards.
• Liaise with architects, designers and clients to clarify requirements and confirm feasibility.
• Identify potential production issues early and propose practical solutions.
• Track project progress and keep filing systems up‑to‑date.

Required profile

• Proven experience creating joinery documentation and CAD drawings in a construction or interior‑fitout environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to verify dimensions, tolerances and material specifications.
• Excellent communication skills for coordinating with design teams and workshop staff.
• Ability to work independently while adhering to project timelines.
