IT Technician

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced IT Technician to join our team in Paarl. The role involves providing both remote and on‑site technical support across a range of hardware, software and network environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide remote and on‑site technical support.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Manage helpdesk tickets and resolve user incidents.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment and systems.
• Support Active Directory, Group Policy, firewalls, antivirus, and email security.
• Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi‑Fi, servers, and VoIP systems.
• Perform data backups and system maintenance.
• Set up new users, devices, and applications.
• Maintain IT asset registers and documentation.

Required profile

• Customer‑focused and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Valid driver’s licence (advantageous).
