IT Support Engineer – Warehouse Applications

About the role

The Takealot Group’s Fulfilment Solutions division is looking for an IT Support Engineer to maintain and support warehouse application systems in Montague Gardens, Cape Town. You will ensure critical IT applications run smoothly, minimizing disruption to the high‑volume fulfilment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting and support for warehouse application systems, quickly resolving issues to keep operations running.
• Perform regular maintenance, health checks and performance monitoring of all warehouse IT applications.
• Deliver training sessions to warehouse staff on the use of key applications.
• Document incidents, resolutions and procedures to build a knowledge base.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement through technology and contribute to business continuity planning.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of IT application support experience, preferably in a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and best practices.
