IT Support Engineer – Onsite L1

About the role

NTT DATA is looking for an IT Support Engineer (L1) to provide on‑site technical assistance to end‑users. You will ensure the smooth operation of hardware, software and network infrastructure while delivering a high‑quality, customer‑centric support experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑line support to end‑users on desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Install, configure and maintain devices and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Manage incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs.
• Perform user account administration and access management.
• Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi and VPN connectivity problems.
• Escalate complex issues to specialised teams when required.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions and IT assets.
• Participate in projects, upgrades, deployments and migrations.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and provide user training as needed.

Required profile

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field (or equivalent qualification).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar support role within a client‑facing environment.
• Strong communication and client‑engagement skills.
