IT Installer – Infrastructure & Network Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a skilled IT Installer to join our fast‑paced technical team in Bloemfontein. You will be responsible for installing, terminating, and testing network and fibre infrastructure, as well as setting up CCTV and Wi‑Fi equipment across various sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test CAT6 and fibre optic cabling.
• Mount and connect CCTV cameras, Wi‑Fi access points, switches, and other network equipment.
• Diagnose and repair system, device, and cabling faults.
• Pull, route, label, and secure cabling according to site specifications.
• Maintain accurate equipment records and monitor stock levels.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate (NQF 4) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an IT environment.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with IT hardware, network infrastructure, CCTV, and fibre installations.
• Good computer literacy.

• LAN/WAN installation and troubleshooting.
• Hardware installation.
• Fibre splicing.
• Power‑tool handling.
